KUSA
or 'Call for Urgent Sustainable Alternatives' epitomizes
a way of life that can be called, for want of a better
term, 'deep ecology.' The concept embraces the ideologies
propounded by sustainable development, but of course,
ventures, far, far, beyond. KUSA itself, referring to
a particular grass, that played an important role in
the science of self realization and is an emblem of
transcendental purity. Under the banner of KUSA, SAGE
attempts to present and advocate the finer concepts
of this sublime way of life that has in its essence,
simple living and high thinking.
Apart
from the concepts of simple living, austerity, etc.,
KUSA will also explore the Vedic concepts of sustainable
living. But ultimately KUSA is a life-style statement.
And, advocating a way of life that is diametrically
opposite to the one in vogue (the foam-in-the-mouth
one), is its prime objective. Still under development
and discussion, we request our esteemed readers to visit
